Here's Why Oracle's Stock Continues to Lag its Peers Like Amazon, Microsoft, and Alphabet
The company's exposure to OpenAI remains the main talking point among equity and bond investors.
Oracle's(NYSE: ORCL) stock declined by 11.4% in July, according to data from S&P Global Market Intelligence. The move can't be viewed in isolation, as it occurred during a general sell-off of artificial intelligence (AI) related stocks. While stocks exposed to the AI theme (including Oracle) have bounced strongly in early August, it's worth noting that Oracle remains the laggard of the leading hyperscalers.
